In this, our first official
State of the Re-Union Address, we
want you to know that plans for our
50th Reunion are coming
along beautifully !!
∙ We’ve
spent over a year locating our “lost
ones” and have
found almost 75%
of our classmates !!
∙ Reunion activities
currently being developed
include (a) an informal gathering on
Friday night, (b) a
variety of
activities on Saturday, and (c) the
special reunion finale on Saturday
night. Quality and ambiance with an
eye for affordability will determine
final arrangements.
∙ Jim Johnson of the NPHS
Class of ’58 has helped us develop
this website. We’re
grateful to those who have logged on
and provided us with updated contact
information. Really, it’s great
hearing from you !!
∙ We have developed a
questionnaire (also
available on Newsletter link) to
gather updated information about
you. Answer as many questions as
you’re comfortable with. Our goal
is to get reacquainted, help you
make new connections with old
friends or find a classmate with
similar interests who you may not
have known in 1961.
∙ Along with the launch of
the electronic Newsletter on this
website, we’re also mailing almost
200 printed copies to
classmates who do not have Internet
access or who prefer to receive
printed communication from the
committee.
∙ We have set a goal of
publishing one newsletter per year
(printing and mailing costs prohibit
more than that). But. . . this
website will be updated regularly,
so check here often for the
latest news about classmates and
reunion plans.
Now we need
your help. As noted above, we
are still looking for about 25% of
our classmates. Please check the “Unfound List” (also
on Main Menu).
Do you recognize a name and know
where to find them? Do you know
their brother, sister or cousin?
Please send any pertinent
information to Rozanne at
roz@wroughtironservices.com.
AND. . . if your contact
information changes, please let us
know !! We don’t want to lose YOU.
Sadly, Ron
Bergamo, our original 50th
Reunion Chairman, died in a tragic
auto accident on Jan. 6, 2008. A
memorial fund has been established
by the committee to honor Ron’s
memory and his vision for the
reunion. Click on the Ron
Bergamo Memorial Fund (also
on Main
Menu) for information about the
goals of this fund and how you can
become a donor. Gifts received thus
far have come in varying amounts and
we continue to welcome donations at
all levels.
So, welcome
to your reunion website !!
Explore all the links, fill out the
questionnaire, enjoy the Newsletter,
& return often for updates. We look
forward to seeing you in 2011.
